Testimony professor Lieven Annemans

The Happiness Triangle in a Nutshell.

Lieven is a full professor of health and welfare economics at the Faculty of Medicine of Ghent University. He is also a visiting professor at the Ehsal Management School in Brussels and at the Vienna School of Clinical Research. For 8 years he was chairman of the Flemish Health Council and during the corona epidemic he was chairman of the Flemish Social Recovery Committee. He has been a two-time laureate of a Francqui chair, has published more than 300 international scientific studies, is the author of several books including Your Money or Your Life in Health Care and the recent Finding Happiness Without Seeking It, and gives numerous national and international lectures on health and well-being.

As holder of the NN-UGent Chair 'Perspectives on a Healthy and Happy Life' and the Chair of the 'Go for Happiness' Fund on mental well-being in young people, he is intensely committed to what can make people happier.
